Women In Time Change History

"...dwelling in tents" performance text

Prologue

International money exchanges
a dollar today,
tomorrow a dime.
Yet, in International Standard Time
an hour’s a hour in any clime on earth.

On Earth:
there may be no earth to inherit
if our generation’s too meek,
if your generation’s too sleek,
to seek a street to not just speak
to Universal Human Rights,
the mighty cite as grounds for war,
then violate on grounds of war.

Perhaps once need did beget greed.
But now it's greed that begets need,
cruel and unnecessary need
prompts acts by which some youth are freed
from the blinding siren creed
of greed and war with
which our Earth is far from done.

Humanization has just begun.

But it has begun.

Stage one...
